Hotel courts are mainly for guests, but some hotels rent them to the public. A few publish their rates; for example, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur has listed non-guest court hire at RM120 for the first hour and RM80 for each hour after.
How to ask
- Contact the hotel’s recreation or fitness centre directly rather than the main reservations line.
- Ask whether non-guests can book, the hourly rate, and whether racquets and balls are available.
- Resort hotels, especially luxury resorts in Langkawi, are more likely to restrict courts to guests. Mid-range resorts tend to be more flexible.
Each hotel listing on this site says whether non-guests can book, when we know.
